KAMIC's wide range of emergency lighting comprises luminaires for any and all needs. Luminaires with or without pictograms, emergency lighting with a focus on design, searchlights and a wide variety of light sources and IP ratings. Special luminaires for high ceilings, wide spaces and specific applications are also available.
End customers can be found in the industry, defence, communication and IT/telecom sectors as well as in both public and commercial real estate. Products are distributed to markets via wholesalers with influence from stipulating parties, such as consultants, architects and design departments.
LUMINAIRE FUNCTIONS AND TYPES OF OPERATION
Emergency lighting must guarantee power in all situations, even during a grid failure. KAMIC offers several different solutions. For emergency lighting products with integrated batteries, trends are showing a marked turn toward Lithium/NiMH batteries instead of NiCD and lead cells.
Luminaires with built-in battery and automation
- Continuous operation – luminaire remains on all the time.
- Contingency operation – luminaire only illuminates during power failure.
A number of luminaires can be set for both contingency and continuous operation.
Luminaires for centrally located batteries
Power supply via inverter or other backup power unit in the event of grid failure.
PERFORMANCE MONITORING
Emergency lighting is a safety product with stringent demands for effective performance monitoring.
Our range offers several models of performance monitoring systems with automatic control of light source, battery, capacitors and electronics. The range also includes central testing systems with features such as digital communication via radio signal.
